A feminine, delicate and romantic traditional Romanian blouse, suitable for a bohemian outfit that makes you think of a sunny holiday. The versatility of this type of blouse and its original design have influenced the international fashion scene over the years, beginning with the hippie style of the '70s and continuing with numerous contemporary designers - such as Altuzzara, Ulla Johnson and Isabel Marant - who have appropriated and adapted this piece in their high-end folk-inspired collections.

An authentic part of Romanian folklore with rich, meticulously hand-sewn embroidery, created according to age-old craftsmanship techniques passed down from generation to generation.

Made by authentic artisans from Breaza, Muntenia, this piece was curated by BRS for its exceptional standard of execution, refined details and high-quality fabric.

- Can be worn tied at the base of the neck or off the shoulders;
- Entirely hand-embroidered with the same pattern on the front and sleeves;
- Traditional motif 'The Ear of Wheat' embroidered with grey, brown and white silk threads;
- Composition: white soft homespun cloth (100% natural cotton) and silk embroidery threads.

Items in the SHOP FROM ARTISANS section are not always available in immediate stock, being handmade to order for each of our customers. The Breaza embroidery is one of the most complex in terms of the richness of needlework and the amount of time dedicated to creating each blouse.

Therefore, it generally takes 20-30 days for the artisans to manufacture them, or up to 50 days for more elaborate pieces - depending on the type of embroidery and the human resource available.

However, it may sometimes happen that the item is already in the ateliers' stock at the time of your order, in which case we'll dispatch it immediately.

Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and estimate your shipping date according to this information.

From a thematic point of view, the ornamental motifs that form the decorative structure of the ies are abstract motifs with unclear thematic origin, concrete motifs inspired by nature and the environment and symbolic motifs.

The concrete motives are divided into two other groups: physiomorphic, representing phenomena from plant, animal and human life and skeomorphic, representing work tools, objects used in everyday life.
