 An authentic piece of Romanian folklore, richly embroidered by hand according to traditional craftsmanship techniques passed down from generation to generation.

This silk emerald green traditional shirt with geometric embroidery is perfect for a bohemian outfit that evokes thoughts of a sunny vacation. 

The versatility and original design of this type of shirt have influenced the international fashion scene over the years, from the hippie style of the 70s to numerous contemporary designers who have taken and adapted this piece in their high-end collections inspired by folk - such as Altuzarra, Ulla Johnson, and Isabel Marant.

Created by authentic artisans from the Breaza Muntenia region, this piece was selected by BRS for its exceptional standard of execution, mastery of details, and high-quality material.

Can be crafted in two options

  • 3/4 sleeves  and a honeycomb pleated collar that can be adjusted in size with the help of strings; -

Can be worn closed at the neck or off the shoulders.
Care

To preserve the beauty and durability of your handloom-woven blouse:

  1. Hand wash in cold water (max. 30°C) with mild detergent, free of bleach.
  2. Do not machine wash or tumble dry — vibrations and high temperatures can damage the handwoven fabric and embroidery.
  3. Air dry naturally, laid flat in the shade, to prevent fading and distortion.
  4. Iron on the reverse side, at medium temperature, preferably using a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
  5. Store in a dry, airy place, preferably folded rather than hung, to protect traditional seams.
  6. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, perfume, or deodorant directly on the fabric to prevent stains and discoloration.

For this package, we ship only blouses available in stock from our partner ateliers. To ensure delivery within 3–5 business days, we can guarantee shipping only for in-stock models that meet size and embroidery color criteria.

Every blouse is hand-cut, embroidered, and softly pressed before passing quality review. Natural variations in thread and finish are not imperfections but hallmarks of authenticity.

Once ready, we coordinate express delivery worldwide (EU 1–3 days; international 3–5 days). In some cases, the atelier may ship directly; when so, the artisan is the official shipper, while we remain your constant point of contact — coordinating updates, ensuring tracking, and stewarding the process until the piece reaches you.
