The Merezhivo Long Blouse features a voluminous, airy shape. Gathered puffy sleeves are generously decorated with embroidery and the hand-cut Richelieu technique. The breast line is crafted using the traditional handmade “Zbiranka” technique.

Floral motifs in the embroidery tell a romantic summer story. Hand-sewn contrasting stitches enhance embroidered elements. The cuffs and neckline are lavishly hand-embellished with gold and silver beads (24-carat gold and silver galvanization).

We used high-quality linen fabric and thick, durable embroidery threads to craft this piece. First, the parts of the blouse are embroidered and then assembled at our own atelier in Kyiv.

Each Richelieu embroidery takes 8 to 10 hours of dedicated artisan work. Five artisans work together to craft each blouse, mastering embroidery, hand pleating, and sewing techniques.

The entire process takes about two full days. The embroidery patterns are designed by artists, each motif telling a meaningful story, making each blouse truly unique.
